ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

 

Welcome to Triathlon Ontario’s Aquathlon Provincial Championships!

The aquathlon consists of a 2.5km run, 1km swim and a 2.5km run provided the water temperature is 22 C or above and therefore, wetsuit illegal. If the water temperature is below 22 C, wetsuits are legal and the event switches to a 1km swim and a 5km run.

The Provincial Championship also offers the opportunty to qualify for next year’s Aquathlon World Age Group Championships with two spots per age group per gender available.

Everyone must be a current Triathlon Ontario member for the full aquathlon.

 

We are also offering a “half” aquathlon consisting of a 500m swim and 2.5km run.  You do not have to be a member to participate in this event.  This event is not a provincial championship.
